I had problems with my meichnacal Breitling watch from the very start it lost a couple of minutes a week, I sent it back to Breitling but they claimed that it was within the standard set for a Swiss chronometer. My friend's Rolex is meichnacal but does not have these problems, keeping its time accurately. Perhaps the reason is that Breitling uses SWATCH mechanisms, while Rolex produces its own. I found later that the basic maintenance of the watch costs a3300 and for this you get very bad service having to wait 10 weeks. If you wish to own a luxury watch, do not go for Breitling buy yourself a decent watch like Rolex or buy a Breitling copy, it will be at least as reliable as the original and will cost 100 times less.
